It is just amazing! It has helped fade my acne scars and brighten up my skin. I massage the product for 2/3 minutes and wash it off with warm water. On the other days I use Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser or Angels on Bare Skin by Lush if I've had make up on the previous day. I've been recently sporting no make up so I just wash my face with warm water and thereafter cold water. Using cold water will close all your pores.

I then use Tea tree toner from Lush. I haven't used any other toner. Tea tree is the best thing to use with blemished skin. It has healing properties and isn't harsh like some other toners I've read about it. It's all natural and as tea tree is a healing agent it's just unlikely you'd break out.

If I have a few blemishes I use tea tree oil from the body shop and massage it in. This will help treat any blemishes heal faster. The only issue is the size of the bottle, I need to find a bigger bottle! Using the tea tree oil and tea tree toner have helped clear up blemishes and scarring massively!

Another treatment I sometimes use is the La roche posay effaclar duo anti blemish cream. I have a love hate relationship with this, so it only comes out at certain times. When I first got this product from boots it was amazing. I had a family wedding and it helped reduce the obvious blemishes a lot, however after a while it just stopped working. I decided to put it back in my makeup storage but it came in use again for those stubborn spots! I just don't know it's one of those items that can either work or not. I'd say to give it a try as it could just save you when you really need it! I only use this cream when I've ran out of the tea tree oil or on the stubborn pimples that won't go.
Beautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990523601713757244.post-20091014709816760552014-08-25T11:23:00.001-07:002014-08-29T08:20:02.811-07:00When life gives you lemons.. Make the most of it!As much as I love lemons they are great for many things. Three things I love using lemons for besides eating them are listed below!

1. Lemons are great for an itchy/dry scalp. Cut a lemon in half and massage it in a circular motion into your scalp, work it section by section to get right to the roots. It is kind of like an exfoliant which will get rid of the dead skin and itchiness. Leave it for a half an hour then rinse thoroughly. Doing this twice a week will help!

2. Those dreaded red spots that appear, girls you feel me? Your answer is lemons. Dab a cotton bud into a slice of lemon and attack that monster.. (Gently). I would do this at night and leave overnight or for an hour. The redness and size of the spot will be significantly reduced in the morning!

3. Detox. Yep, drinking lemon water will help reduce bloating and lose a few pounds. There are two options. You can either leave a slice of lemon in hot water and drink it first thing in the morning to kick start your metobalism OR cut a lemon into slices and leave it to soak in a bottle/jug of water overnight in the fridge (You can also limes, mints and cucumbers). Drink this during the day and even though you may be using the bathroom a lot I can personally say this has helped me along with exercising and eating the right things!

Beautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990523601713757244.post-587215113337272842014-07-25T07:30:00.000-07:002014-07-25T07:44:01.458-07:00Empty SmellsYou may think what!? with the name of this post, but i'm sane i promise. I randomly came across a website called www.allbeauty.co.uk which is absolutely AMAZING. They have loads of products high end and drugstore for a much cheaper price. I purchased three sets of brushes and saved £20! I love a good deal. I can now say that my makeup will improve now that I have the right brushes... hopefully.
I also purchased the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge from Boots, i was in two minds about buying the beauty blender so I decided to get a cheaper option and a lot of people have raved about this including my neighbour so I will definitely have a review up once I have tried and tested it.

Real Techniques brushes were probably the first branded brushes i purchased. I used to use some cheap brushes from eBay which did work but you can tell the quality difference. I instantly fell in love. They apply makeup flawlessly. The quality of the brushes are really good, I have had mine for about two years and used the hell out of them and the bristles have not fallen out at all... and i really don't take care of my belongings - so bare that in mind!

I am currently writing this up whilst doing the mask and it is fair to say i look crazy. I have acne prone skin and mainly suffer from bad acne scarring. This mask will help brighten your complexion but also help heal acne and fade acne scars. Personally I can see a difference once I wash the mask off. However with it helping to reduce my acne and scarring you do need to use it continuously. I try to do this mask 2-3 times a week after I shower so my pores have time to open up (I'm too lazy to steam my face every time) I was skeptical to try this at first due to it being bright orange/yellow and it staining my skin but it didn't thank god!

However, if the mask does leave a yellowish tint to your skin, you can use your normal face wash to get rid of the residue or even a facial toner. Turmeric will not stain your skin and you will definitely not end up with a bright yellow/orange face. I can guarantee that! However, if you are still unsure i recommend using half a teaspoon of turmeric powder to begin with then work your way up with the amount.
You don't have to have blemished skin to use this mask, if your skin needs a little pick me up this is a perfect inexpensive mask!

So for this mask I use:

- 1 heaped tablespoon of gram flour

- 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

- 2-3 teaspoons of milk

- 1 teaspoon of honey

I used to use my fingers to apply this mask which was a bad idea for my nails as they would stay yellow. I would recommend using the back of a spoon or an old/cheap foundation brush to spread it evenly. Beautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990523601713757244.post-88176374208649157452014-07-18T06:54:00.000-07:002014-07-18T06:54:55.513-07:00Cupcake addict! It would be a huge lie to say I made these because my baking skills are truly appalling but I had to share these delicious cupcakes. They are definitely the best I have ever tasted! They look like they are from some fancy bakery but nope.. It's from Tesco! You'll just have to take my word with how good they are especially after being in the fridge to get cold. Mmm. I got these yesterday an hour before my dinner party - they saved the day! Writing this blog post whilst I'm fasting isn't a good idea but I thought I would share with you guys where to get yummy cakes! :)
I didn't realise how many i had, which obviously meant I could wear all the plain jane outfits without worrying about being too boring... necklaces to the rescue! They are simply amazing, right girls? I didn't damage my bank account that much seeing as most of them were given to me by my sister (oh the perks haha). I thought I would share a few of my favourites, i'll try to link where they are from if i can remember - most likely won't as I have the biggest fish brain ever :(

I had my necklaces stored in makeup bags i no longer used which was a mistake, they got tangled like crazy. So i decided to actually make use of the compartments in my wardrobe and recently purchased an accessory hanger from Primark (£2). I have to admit it has done the job well, i'm impressed.

Below are my top three necklaces!

Out of all the makeup there is I will never be able to detach away from them. It just makes a look. I mean you can wear all black and have a bright lip and it won't even matter. They are a must in my life. Instead of showing you all every single one I thought I would share with you a few loved ones that I wear a lot and when i mean a lot just look at the pictures below...
Comment below on what your fave lipsticks are! xxBeautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990523601713757244.post-75298998843117152042014-07-17T06:01:00.000-07:002014-07-17T06:37:58.885-07:00Everyday FaceOn my can be bothered days.. which isn't most this is my everyday makeup. After many different looks throughout the years (most were embarrassing) I have finally got my everyday look. It is most likely similar to most other girls but I thought i'd show you what I use! The whole pre-make up skin care can be saved for a whole different post if you would like ladies!

First Base.
For my foundation I use Dior Forever in 023. This is my second bottle of this foundation and I have never purchased the same foundation twice, so it is in my good books. It is medium to full coverage and you can easily apply another layer without looking cakey for those special occasions - tried and tested. For my concealer I use Collection Lasting Perfection in Warm Medium 3. This concealer does not make my face look caked up and it does cover those pesky blemishes well. I sometimes use concealer first before my foundation depending on how much coverage I want.
Unfortunately, the name of my powder has been completely scratched off but all I know it is from Rimmel in shade 005 Silky Beige. The powder is alright.. nothing special in my opinion however it does the job and that is fine by me!

Second base.
I then usually move onto my eyes. I never wear eye shadow on a day to day basis because i personally think it looks too much on myself no matter how natural i try to go. Top liner is very rare for me to wear everyday because I am just way too lazy and impatient :( My eyelash curler is either from superdrug or boots. Nothing expensive.
My holy grail mascara has to be Estee Lauder Double Wear 01 Black. OH MY. This stole first place from Maybelline Falsies & Colossal Volume. Recently I have moved away from black eyeliner to Rimmel Scandaleyes Kajal 005 Nude which just makes me look a lot more awake when i'm really not - perfect for work or college! When I have a little extra time I like to smudge a brown eyeshadow along my waterline. I use Statement Eyes in Taffeta Shade 26.
For my brows i use non other than Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep. This really is amazing for those who have dark eyebrows already and pencil/shadow just makes you look evil.

Third base.
Lastly, bronzer.. I am loving Nars Laguna Bronzer it is seriously amazing. After watching all the youtubers rave on about this product I had to buy it to see what the hype was about and it has lived up to my expectation. It is very pigmented and it does stay on all day for me which is great especially on a night out. I also highlight with the highlighter in the sleek contour palette (light) which i completely forgot to take a picture off sorry! And lastly.. a little bit of burt's bees lip balm to moisturize my lips.

Beautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8990523601713757244.post-69659344730277660072014-07-16T16:41:00.000-07:002014-07-17T07:00:09.318-07:00A little starter..I got inspired to blog from youtubers and reading their blogs, currently I am loving lily pebbles and viviannadoesmakeup. This blog will just simply be a mixture of everything. In no way am i an expert at makeup however like most girls I really do enjoy shopping for it... It can sometimes get a bit out of hand when payday arrives ha ha. I get drawn in very easily to lipsticks even if the colours look pretty much the same to products I already have, I will still purchase it! (Hoarder alert). I intend to write about products I love, skincare tips that have helped me. (Not an expert in any way) and maybe some everyday adventures.
I'd love to hear your suggestions on what to blog about.

Hope you enjoy! :) xxx
Beautify Beautyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10936825941860717295noreply@blogger.com0
